About Clinical Pilates....

Pilates is a form of exercise that is suitable for people from all age groups. It uses a system of exercises designed to improve strength, posture, flexibility and overall physical fitness.

At SportsHealth Physio & Sports Injury Clinic, clinical Pilates classes are run by experienced physiotherapists with postgraduate training, ensuring high quality management through extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and rehabilitation from orthopedic and sports medicine conditions.

If you are recovering or undertaking rehab from an injury or surgery, Pilates can help to regain lost strength and endurance, improve balance and control. It’s a great way to transition back to sport or to return to your everyday activities through a structured exercise approach. What is better, it can also help fine tune sports specific skills.

If you are someone who has a typical office desk setting, you may suffer from poor posture which in turn can result in back or neck pain. Pilates can help correct your posture and also stretches out those sore or tight areas.


Class Structure and how to Enroll

Clinical Pilates classes are run in a small group with a maximum of 4 per class allowing for plenty of 1:1 attention throughout the session.

Individuals will go through an Initial Pilates Assessment prior to enrolling

Each class is run over 45 minutes under the supervision of a physiotherapist

Cost per session booked individually : $ 50

Cost per 10 bulk sessions: $ 450
